Lovely pair of lovebirds. Dorian is an unusual grey colour with lilac/grey underbelly and a very pale peach face and head (male) Sage is a very pale version of a peach faced lovebird.(female) I chose the least bright versions for the simple fact that should one escape they are less likely to become prey to the neighborhood buzzards. Brightly colour birds are far easier to spot and therefore are less likely to have time for you to recapture them.
They are great fun to watch.. Give them a chain and they'll play for hours. They are totally bonded and its adorable to watch them preening each other and cuddling up heads together as they sleep.
I got these guys a few months ago in glasgow thinking they could go in the budgies aviary as they are smaller than my huge budgies. But one of my females has taken a fancy to the male and this isny going down well with Sage. So it's with a heavy heart that I'm looking to rehome them. For the sake of the flock.
