Description:

Chocolate & White dog Border Collie puppies born October 18th and ready December 15th, or can leave after Xmas if preferred. There are only 2 dog puppies left available now for reservation before viewing on Nov 8th, they are two chocolate & white dog puppies as shown in the photographs.

These are gorgeous puppies, both parents are here to be seen, as are previous now adult puppies of theirs and great grandparents are here also.

Viewing is from November 8th, when the puppies are 3 weeks of age. Reservations in advance can be made via photographs of individual puppies with no obligation to have that puppy upon viewing. No deposit is paid until a puppy is chosen.

The puppies will be registered with the DLC (Dog Lovers Club) and a 3 generation certificate will be provided.They will also be microchipped, and there is an option of the first vaccine being given or not, depending if your vet's 2nd vaccine is compatible with mine. Puppies can leave at 8 weeks, or as so near to Christmas can leave after the event at ten weeks. Those puppies that leave at 10 weeks will be fully vaccinated at 8 weeks and 10 weeks, with both 1st and 2nd vaccine at no extra charge, unless a new owner would prefer their own vet to vaccinate their puppy to build trust in their vet from an early age. Some people like to wait until week 10 and 12 before vaccinating a puppy. (Personally when I buy a puppy for myself this is what I prefer to do, I also prefer to vaccinate every 3 years instead of yearly to avoid over immunisation).

A KC Agility form can be provided duly signed by myself as the breeder for people who wish to train their puppy for agility.

Food will also be provided, a good quality holistic puppy food 2kg unopened bag, and an information sheet as well as a contract. Bonding visits are encouraged, or for those that cannot visit too often a family scent cloth (flannel size or old tee shirt) can be sent for me to give to the chosen puppy. This has worked brilliantly in the past. I ask people to sleep with the cloth for a night each, then providing it has no zips or buttons, and has not be subjected to smoke, and has no ink or slogans on it, then I will give that to their puppy at age 7 weeks,which is the prime time for a puppy to bond with its new owners. In the past this method has shown that a puppy will know the new owner on collection and be happy to leave with them.

I have a small number (8) of heavy plastic puppy beds, and these will be provided with each puppy until all gone. I also have some brand new un-boxed 42 inch dog black crates for sale at £50 each, if anyone should require one. They will not fit in the car, but can be used at home, for training a puppy to have its own 'me' space. More information is covered on dog crate training in my information sheet. The information sheet will be provided at the time of leaving a deposit, so owners have weeks to read and absorb the information. If I give it when the puppy is collected, it is seldom ever read in the excitement of having the puppy home, and it contains some vital and important information that will help owners with their new puppy.

Finally, I have a well, supported and much appreciated Facebook group for all owners of my puppies, where people can socialise with owners of sibling puppies, swap experiences and arrange reunions and talk to me. An invitation to join the group is provided when the puppy is ready to leave.

Please, please, please if you have not owned a Border Collie before, do as much research on the breed before committing to buy, as they are a high maintenance exceedingly intelligent breed of dog, and are better suited to country homes.
