Born 5/2/24. ** ONE dog left - light colour, purple collar. Two BITCHES LEFT - one is very dark red, Green Collar, the other is just a tad lighter, Orange Collar** All very friendly, socialised and toilet trained to use newspaper area of their pen.

Brilliant high health test scores achieved by both parents of this litter!
Mom is Bessy, one of our three pedigree pet labradors. They will be ready to join new homes in early April.

About our dog family and us

We bred Bessy ourselves and chose her from our last litter from our bitch Tilly in 2021. We also have a rescue dog, old Darcy who is 13 now, and Roxy (2) who we bought as a playmate for Bessy when we sadly lost her mother, Tilly (not to a genetic cause). They have a cattle farm to run around on. Bessy ignores cattle completely, running away at the last minute if they challenge her. That's perfect behaviour!
We have family locally with many kids who will ensure that the socialisation of puppies is thorough.
Although we only breed an occasional litter - raised in the heart of our lounge as part of the family with round the clock care and lots of socialisation - we are experienced breeders.

About the Mom Bessy

Bessy is an absolutely adored, placid, lovable and loving medium sized family pet who has a heart of gold and a temperament to die for. She has grown up with children and is a perfect family pet: a very gentle temperament, obedient, easy to train, fun and intelligent. She can play all day or switch off and sleep, she is perfectly adaptable to whatever is going on in our family life.
On the health side Bessy is hip scored 3/3 (very, very good) and 0/0 for her elbows (perfect). Bessy is DNA tested and clear for all of the conditions suggested for Labradors by the Kennel Club: prcd-PRA, EIC, CNM, SD2, HNPK, MCD and STGD.

He is a lovely example of the fox red shade of yellow Labrador, he is a most stunningly handsome stud dog with an impressive, athletic physique and striking good looks - and an aura that you just fall in love with when you see him. In the flesh now he has matured he is even better than these photos. We can fully understand why he has been chosen to sire 36 registered litters to date - and still under 5 years old! He is obviously fully health tested DNA clear of everything with great hip/elbow scores and a great temperament - great with children and other dogs.

The puppies.

Nine born and all thriving on Day 33. Bitch is doing a great job!
All puppies are all yellow (red), as both parents are yellow. They range from dark red to light beige.
Puppies will be fully wormed at 2, 5 and 8 weeks as the vet recommends, microchipped and fully health checked by the vet at 8 weeks of age.
They will be growing up in a busy house, being exposed to household noises to get them confident and ready for their new homes. They will be handled and weighed daily and socialized with all the visitors, grandchildren and our other adult dogs.
We are fans of caging puppies in their new home - this helps with toilet training and we have several cages to lend to buyers - first come first served.
As both parents are fully health tested the pups will be hereditary clear of prcd-PRA, EIC, CNM, SD2, HNPK, MCD and STGD so it is impossible for the puppies to be affected and their KC pedigree will be marked accordingly so no need for them to ever be blood tested.

All of our puppy families will get an A4 folder with both parents' details and health testing reports, all relevant paperwork, ie: a standard Puppy Sales Contract, Kennel Club Pedigree registration, KC change of ownership details , vet health certificate, Vaccination card, feeding guide, worming guide, microchip details, free 5 weeks Kennel Club insurance, Puppy food to last at least 2 weeks, a 'scented' blanket (with mother and litter smells), and a familiar puppy toy.
If for some extreme reason your circumstances change we are happy to have the puppy back here (this has never happened before but we would do it for the puppy's sake).

*** One is going to Jersey April 14th !!*** *** and one to Switzerland same day - end of their Easter UK break!! **
A gorgeous puppy from one of our previous litters was collected by a courier, taken to a South Coast airport and delivered to Jersey. This was a residents 'puppy flight' during Covid. Nowadays Condor Ferry is suitable. We were and are happy to hold onto the puppy for many weeks in this instance.

Reservations

Expressions of interest are now invited with an invitation to visit at a time to suit us both. Deposit will be £500 each please, when you have decided that one is meant for you.
From the time that you reserve a puppy you will be sent regular photo updates and multiple visits are welcomed. Read more
