All nucs will have a thorough disease inspection before being delivered or collected. These nucs have been bred for excellent honey production and docility. My bees have produced award winning honey, winning prestigious awards at the Devon County Show. I myself received over 100lb of honey from a nuc. I am a qualified beekeeper and have completed multiple beekeeping assessments with the BBKA.

Nucs may be collected or delivered around June time. These nucs are on 6 DN4 (self spacing) BS national frames. Your nuc will contain a marked 2024 F1 Buckfast open mated queen. The queen will be laying and will be 3/4 frames of brood in all stages and a couple of frames of stores etc. This price includes a correx travel box which is very useful in all beekeeping practices. Bees can be collected from us directly from near Exeter or delivered to anywhere in mainland UK via Royal Mail.

Given the right conditions you should be able to get a decent honey harvest. These nucs are perfect for beginner beekeepers and show very low swarming tendencies in their first year. All nucs have been treated with Formic pro and Oxalic acid mite treatments regularly meaning you have the healthiest, happiest bees possible!

Nucs are really easy to care for in their first year and are easy to transfer into a full hive. Full instructions can be sent via email etc and I offer superb after care. If you have any questions at all please feel free to contact me. Payment via bank transfer.
