This cat stand was made by hand and is very, very sturdy, no expense was spared in it's making.

The Two Raised Platforms
The two upper platforms are surrounded by black 'L' shaped flexible plastic strips, these are coach pinned into the platforms edges and used to secure the carpet square surfaces, no glue is used for easy carpet square replacement.
The platform carpets may be easily removed and replaces by simply pulling out the 'L' retaining strips, then re-tapping home the same pins, providing complete freedom to replace surfaces with alternative colour carpet squares that can be cut to shape etc.
The Four Platform supporting Posts
The four platform supporting posts are wrapped with 'sash-cord' rope, which do not constantly shed fibre strands like 'Sisal' rope does and also lasts longer, these have been stapled to the 4" square posts, and is very easy to replace any small areas that the cats prefers to reach and sharpen their claws on; 'sash-chord' readily available at typical hardware super-stores or on-line.
The base part was designed for the cats bed to be placed
The cat bed area is an open fronted sturdy box with a rear gap to aid air circulation and provide a viewing window for the cat.
This is completely covered in carpet including underneath, so the stays in place even on wooden flooring and can be dragged to a new location without scratching it.

The stand is in good solid and clean condition we had two cats and two stands the other stand was next to a sunny window and as a result received most off the cats attention.
This stand has not been used for several years and rested in a spare room, prior to this listing it has been very thoroughly cleaned and disinfected.
