Our new female has just given birth to 9 baby rats on 18th October. She was pregnant when we got her (unknown to us!). The pet shop has said they will take them when 6 weeks but I hate to send them back to tiny cages. I obviously have no idea of sex/colours yet but I'm just seeing if there is any interest in buying them when they are ready on 29th November. We have lots of experience with rats and love ours to bits but i dont want 9 more! We are holding them daily and have a big playpen for them to run in when older, so they will be used to human contact. They will definetely be seperated when it suggests so no pregnant females! If you might be interested please email me and i can get in touch when we know sex/colours. The cost is to cover the extra cage we have had to buy for the males and the food/bedding etc. rather than making a profit.
