ARTIST'S STATEMENT
The purpose of my art practice is to bring out the character, essence, and soulfulness of each individual.

BIOGRAPHY
Kate Marr Fine Art BA (Hons) grew up in Surrey where she started drawing and painting from a young age. She completed a foundation degree at the Surrey Institute of Art and Design, and Fine Art degree at Plymouth University in 2008. Afterwards she moved to London and specialised in portraiture. Kate now lives in Bournemouth, continuing to work in portraiture and figurative, landscape and seascape work. She has undertaken many commissions, and exhibited in galleries around the UK.
