We are in need of lovely volunteers to generate productivity and make a difference to children's lives. Support our shops to give customers the best possible experience in store, keep the shop stocked and tidy, and help us to sort donations- an all-rounder!

We are looking for General Shop Volunteers to help us to run our much loved high street shop. In your local shop there is always plenty to do. You could be front of house, serving customers and keeping the shop floor tidy and fresh, or organising stock behind the scenes. We ask for as little or as much time as you can give, as often or as occasionally as you feel able.

You will be supported by our friendly shop team to be involved in tasks like:

- Sorting clothes, tagging, stickering and hanging.

- Restocking the shop, accepting donations and communicating with customers

- Creating displays and merchandising

- Serving customers on the till (if you're happy to)

We'll need you to:

- be friendly and willing to help

- have good common sense

- use your own initiative and work as part of a team to help out.

We would love you to join us, and so we are happy to provide training to any inexperienced volunteers.

This is a great way to gain experience, make new friends, and help Barnardo's provide great care to disadvantaged children and families

Commitment:

Ideally we'd love you to commit to a regular 3 hour shift, but the shop is open 7 days a week and whatever time you'd like to give us we'd be over the moon. Don't hesitate tea and coffee is included!
