Peckham Festival is a hyper-local festival with a single aim of celebrating creative and cultural Peckham. We are looking for Volunteers to assist on the delivery of the upcoming festival from now until the festival completion

The festival is produced by the people who own the Bussey Building/Copeland Park complex with support from Southwark Council.

In 2017 the festival attracted well over 15,000 people to 183 events across 65 venues; involving 38 restaurants or bars, 9 galleries, 171 individual artists, 12 creative businesses across 12 artist studio complexes, and showcased 17 local musical acts and 15 non-profit community groups - all ably assisted by 68 volunteers made up of local members of the community and beyond and for 2018 we'll be even bigger


Running a festival on such a scale requires a dedicated team of volunteers who will support the Festival Team in a variety of practical and operational ways from start to finish. Without our volunteers we could not run this event and our volunteers are the lifeline of the Peckham Festival.

We have a variety of roles available from now until the festival completion, including:

* Stewarding / Operations / Events Management
* Community Engagement
* Photography
* Journalism
* Blogging
* Social Media Delivery and Analytics
* Filming


As well as the roles listed above, we are looking for people who can take on additional responsibilities by becoming a team leader, who can lead and supervise a team of volunteers on shift. Support the volunteer coordinator with scheduling, organising lunch breaks and answering volunteer questions.

During the Festival you will be working with a very diverse group of people of all ages including Festival staff, volunteers, participating artists, performers, community groups, local business, charities and organisations

Please note all volunteers must be over 18 years old.
