1.5 hours for chance of winning one of two £50 vouchers.

We are in need of people to help out as participants in a research study at the University of Kent (Keynes College, Canterbury, CT2 7NP). Participants will be entered into a drawing to win one of two £50 vouchers good at stores on the High Street. The study uses transcranial direct brain stimulation (safe low voltage electrical stimulation), facial EMG, and an image task. You will be asked to rate emotional images while receiving brain stimulation and having your facial muscle activity recorded by small electrodes.

Participants should be healthy and meet the following criteria:

1.no diagnosed anxiety or depressive disorder
2.age 18-30 years old
3.right-handed
4.fluent in English
5.non-smoker to casual (light) smoker
6.non-drinker to casual (light) drinker
7.no seizures, migraines, or any neurological problems
8.not currently taking any medication
9.due to the limitations of the tDCS (stimulation) device, we are unable to test on participants with afro-textured hair, dreadlocks, braids, and cornrows.
