like to have fun ? enjoy trying new things ? love to cut stick and color ? do you have a skill to share ? need a hobby ? want to try some adventurous activities ? enjoy working with children ?

we meet weekly for 1 - 1 1/2 hours , during term time only, with girls aged 5-10 . we need help with being at weekly meetings to help set up activities and possibly run your own . girls may need help with some basic skills , cutting out , spelling as well as encouragement to complete the activity . we are looking for someone to just help on a weekly basis who likes to have fun and enjoys good company .

must be 18+ , willing to undergo an enhanced DBS check , be available weekly / bi weekly , enjoys working with children and reliable .

we are currently running a high volume of participants in the unit and have specific adult to child ratios that we need to adhere to . with additional adult volunteers we would be able to increase our numbers to reach a wider sector of the community .recently a key member of the leadership team has had to stop volunteering . without the volunteer adults we would not be able to run weekly meetings and would not be able to engage with the local community and help girls to reach their full potential .

within the unit we offer friendship , opportunity's to learn new skills and try new adventures as well as the chance for you to show us new skills . we hold residentials where you would have the opportunity to take part in adrenaline filled activities ..... zip wire , camp fires , low ropes , archery
