We Proudly support many maritime charities around the UK
Our group was formed in 1985 as Sea Tack by the late Richard Woodford MBE, His work within many safety programmes developing new and improved recovery and lifejacket systems, From the early 90`s further research and design was given to deployment rescue & liferaft aiding many improvements to marine equipment including early location systems to aid MOB, Gaining extra help with research and testing, Simple systems where put in place across a wide range of leisure and commercial vessels.
Today The Maritime Group operates our free safety programmes to many sailing and power operated charity marine organizations throughout the UK helping on many different marine activities
We proudly work alongside and support our much needed RNLI & MCA promoting maritime safety.
Our service is totally free to all UK based groups offering free equipment and training support, Grants are offered to qualifying non profit marine groups.
Disabled and similar run maritime clubs and societies coastal or offshore are welcome to drop us a line with your ideas or needs.
We also assist in shore based safety with the help of The Coastguard to promote safety awareness around our coastal waters, Including Beach safety and float to live campaigns from the RNLI.
