Advonet is a growing organisation working with people who are marginalised to raise their voices and have their rights respected.

We have an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about upholding the rights of people to work as a Universal Advocate and join our existing team of advocates already providing this service across Leeds.

You will use your specialist knowledge and proven advocacy skills to deliver advocacy. You will be based initially in our Independent Mental Health Advocacy (IMHA) team, though over time you will be expected to work across all the advocacy disciplines as required.

You need to be working or have worked in a similar role and be willing to work towards achieving the Independent Advocacy Qualification (IAQ).
