Personal Assistant/ Support Worker required for a gentleman living in Mytchett, Camberley.
I am a 36-year-old man with a moderate learning disability. I use an electronic communication board and have a good level of understanding. I am very sociable and love to get out and about mixing with other people. I enjoy going to the pub, for meals out, bowling, theatre, the cinema and trips to the coast. I am a full-time wheelchair user. I require support with some of my personal care such as toileting, changing my tee shirt, taking my coat on and off and cutting up my food. I am able to eat for myself. Sometimes my Mum might need support with hoisting me and training can be provided.
I have 6.5 hours support available a week and I am looking for support on Saturdays and Sundays generally between 11am - 4/5 pm. I am looking to split the hours over the weekend although there will be occasions when I may use my 6 hours on one day during the weekend for example if I want to go out for the whole day.

Please provide any additional information about where you need your support and/or driving requirements: You will drive my adapted vehicle a Renault Traffic so you need to be a confident driver and aged over 25 for insurance purposes.
