Role Summary
The Warehouse Operative is responsible for managing the day to day running of the warehouse facilities at our offices in Alton; ensuring that the warehouse is kept clean and tidy, stock levels are maintained and that building services are kept in good working order at all times. Further, the Warehouse Operative is responsible for receiving deliveries and preparing goods for dispatch to fulfill project requirements.
This role is based at our facilities in Alton, Hampshire and is advertised as a part time position based on a 20-hour working week (working hours to be agreed).
Responsibilities
1.The receiving of goods into and the dispatching of goods out of the company.
2.The checking of finished goods stock (FGS) and consignment stock to ensure that they accurately reflect the company's stock records.
3.The organisation and general tidiness of the warehouse and workshop area.
4.The urgent (typically 'same day') delivery of spare parts etc. to field service staff.
5.Ensuring that building services are kept in good working order.
In addition to the above the Warehouse Operative is required to comply with all and any reasonable requests made by the Operations Manager or Managing Director.
