Electrical Technician Assistant in Chilworth
Description:
Mine Technology Services Ltd (MTS) based in Chilworth, West Surrey, is looking to recruit an Auto Technician Assistant or Electrical Technician to join our team to assist in the manufacturing of electrical components.
You will be required to have either completed, or be working towards, an electrical engineering qualification.
The role will start as part-time, with a minimum 15 hours a week, but has scope to increase and become full-time.
Key requirements
An ability to demonstrate strong problem-solving skills: the successful applicant will be responsible for helping to develop, build, and adapt equipment to client specifications.
The ability to read electrical drawings.
Microsoft and other computer skills.
Excellent communications skills.
The ability to work self-sufficiently and to complete projects in a timely manner.
Previous technical sales experience would be an advantage, but is not essential
Knowledge of electrical systems, radios, data transfer, and the reading of electrical drawings would be an advantage, but training will be given. We anticipate that the job holder will progress to helping with other roles within the company.
MTS is a UK-based company which provides the mining industry and similar industries with products, services, auditing, and training packages tailored to mining mobile equipment and similar applications. Salary to be discussed on the interview.
