I am Radhika G, from India, currently staying in Willesden, London.
As part of my bachelor's I attempted to fuse traditional painting style with the contemporaneous elements. While doing my Masters I experimented with some contemporaneous art works. I can do paintings on paper with any media in any style, murals on wall and window paintings on glass window.
As an illustrator I will supplement the given story with visual narration, by infusing life into the visualized characters. These art works will be executed through creative process based on hand work, bringing out specific style reflecting my individualistic artistic personality. As a visualizer by accompanying the words with the visuals I will contribute to the visually enhanced readerly experience.
In this direction I have executed some illustration projects namely 'Pancha Tantra Kategalu'(Indian Animal Fables) , Akbar Birbal Stories and 'Puttajji Puttajji Kate Helu'' ('Grandma, Grandma, Tell Me A Story'). Since the publisher wished to have black and white illustrations only I executed them accordingly.
