Groundserve - Grounds maintenance
Grounds Maintenance operative required 4 days a week, increasing to 5 which will include some Saturdays. The successful individual will be highly motivated and available to work hours suiting to the seasonal workday, overtime will be paid for time outside of the normal contracted hours.
The position is located in and around the Horsham area, West Sussex. Due to this the applicant must hold a full driving license and have access to their own vehicle, some days you will be required to drive to the operative base and/or to the site location.
Experience is preferred but a passion for gardening is essential. The applicant will be required to speak to customers therefore a presentable appearance, a polite manner and a 'can do' attitude is a must. You will also have good communication skills and will have a keen eye for detail.
Duties will include but are not limited to:
General grounds maintenance tasks
Leaf collection
Shrub and border maintenance
Grass cutting and strimming
Hedge cutting
Flower and shrub planting
Site clearance.
The hourly rate will be dependent on experience.
