Ashville College, Harrogate, is looking to appoint a full time Gardener / Grounds Person to work in a small team of Grounds Staff.

The role involves preparing, cultivating and maintaining horticultural features to an excellent standard, maintaining amenity and sports turf grass surfaces, using pedestrian, ride on and tractor mounted grass mowing machinery and other ad hoc grounds duties.

The role will also involve lifting, carrying and operating heavy equipment.

The successful candidate must be in possession of a minimum of a Provisional Driving Licence and hold at least NVQ level 1 in Amenity Horticulture.

The role is to work 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday and the salary is £11.10 per hour.
