Wicked Care Consultancy are supporting care and nursing homes across East Devon by introducing them to individuals who have, or haven't, worked in care before - it doesn't matter what roles you've have previously or how much care experience you have, what does matter is that you are caring, compassionate & kind.

A typical care assistant role is so varied and one day is never the same, however just some of the support you'll be giving to individuals in the homes will be personal care such as washing, dressing, eating, assistant with days out in the local community, helping at mealtimes and assisting with activities - and of course, being a companion. Making sure the individuals physical and emotional needs are being met.

We don't ask for you to have previous experience or qualifications in care as comprehensive training is provided, what we do require is individuals to be emotionally intelligent, respectful, friendly, and reliable. If you have these personal qualities and have a willingness to learn then you are perfect for our "wicked" team.

"Wicked" is another word for very or extremely, it can mean "of exceptional quality", and the Urban Dictionary defines it as wonderful, great, splendid, excellent - all qualities we look for in a Wicked Care team member.

The Care Assistant Role:

Deliver person-centred care in all aspects of daily living
Provide care that supports the self-respect of the individual being supported
Promote independence & meaningful experience of life
Supporting with personal care such as washing, bathroom breaks, dressing
Supporting at mealtimes throughout the day
Care Plan daily notes

About you:

No qualifications or experience needed - comprehensive training provided
Willingness to learn
Empathy & kindness a must
