3 separate entrances, including one through the barn (really helful as you can park your car into the barn when back from errands); several couples/families can happily lives there :)

The adjoining barn can easiy be turned into a separate house or as an enlarging of the current house (connected to the kitchen).
It includes a nice big bread oven. It used to be the village's one. We're using it for barbecues and as a pizza oven.

Escoubilhac is a peaceful hamlet near Lacaune (5 km away), well known for its wonderful delicatessen (and cheese - Roquefort is not far away!). The hamlet compries about 20 houses, occupied by families litteraly in love with the region. They will be able to give you nive tips about the surroundings: forest, nature, mushrooms, siteviews, history facts, etc.

The house is settled into a pure sanctuary of greenery: in the middle of and at the beginning of lots of walking trails, in the forest, hills and meadows. A genuine feeling of "Little house on the Prairie" - There is even a small river at the bottom of the road :) Peaceful cows, wild strawberries, shepherds & sheeps... Heaven for kids or grownups in love with nature!

All local amenities 5 minutes away (post office, banks, shops, schools, pharmacy, GP practice etc...) in Lacaune.

You'll be able to enjoy the fantastic sunny southern France climate in the small garden (approx. 100m) on the South fa§ade of the house: lunches outside, sunbathing, etc.
Most of houses are sold with huge portions of lands, which turns out to be highly constraining and costly for holiday homes. For us, this was an other reason for opting for this land-free house as we wanted a second house (4 month a year) with as little constraints as possible.
