For sale is a SMK MPPT 80A Solar charge controller, i bought this unit in the summer of 2017 and have used it for around 16-18 month till early this summer 2019, the unit is in full working order and i've had absolutely no problems with it at all, the only reason i'm selling is i've moved my solar system to more on grid than off grid and have no more use for a unit as big as this one.it's in fantastic condition and comes in it's original packing box with the user manual and battery temperature probe.This unit was my first MPPT unit that took over from my PWM and the difference in power gain was simply amazing Please note this is the 80A unit not the 60A, it can be used to charge either 12v, 24v,36,or46v battery banks and will auto detect when connected, it has preset battery values and can be used to charge Sealed,AGM,Flooded,GEL or Lithium batteries or you can set your own values in the used define menu.Max PV input is between 1200w and 4600w depending on your battery voltage (see photo of specs) The unit has a 60A DC load output and an RS485 communications port (see photo)The unit is almost 8kg in weight and is very well built with heavy terminals that can take 6AWG wire (see photo) Fitted with a large heatsink for cooling so no noisy fans running The unit is very easy to use with simple on screen LCD display, please not the protective film is still attached to the LCD screen and those are air bubbles around the buttons not scratched .Price includes Royal Mail special delivery postage.
