I am a qualified primary teacher, holding the PGCE Primary (5-11) (Distinction) and the Trinity Diploma in TESOL (Teaching English to Students of Other Languages. I have a clear DBS check and child protection certification. My specialist 1:1 tutoring includes the following areas:
-Primary, including maths, English, phonics and homework help.
-Transition to secondary school, including support with homework and test preparation.
-English as an additional language including at primary, secondary and university level including preparation for IELTS exams.
I provide a quality educational experience to all learners, tailoring teaching and support to the needs of individuals including those with special needs.
I live outside of York and work in the York, Selby, Pocklington and Harrogate areas, and would welcome students from surrounding towns and rural districts.
