I am a qualified social worker with 13 years' experience, mainly working with older people, people who have dementia, and adults with learning difficulties.
I'm a very practical person and love working face to face with people. I offer a range of services including domestic tasks (cleaning, shopping etc), basic gardening, painting and decorating, 'out and about' social support, budgeting and 'independent living skills', and a respite sitting service for carers. My aim is to work flexibly and deliver a person-centred service, tailored to suit individual needs.
I am available for one-off or short-term work, such as providing support through a period of illness, or returning home from hospital, and also on a longer-term basis.
I have an Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) certificate and can provide character and professional references if necessary.
