Be Caring Tyneside are currently looking to recruit a full-time, experience team leader to join our busy Complex and Palliative Home Care department.

The purpose of the role is to oversee the day to day management of our Complex and Palliative Home Care services providing support to both our customers and care staff.

Previous experience working in a similar care related role would be a strong advantage when being considered for the role.

You will be confident in managing a team and able to work under pressure to ensure the department is exceeding CQC requirements.

Qualified at level 2 in Health and Social care or above and a desire to further your career in social care with Be Caring.
Your role as a Complex and Palliative Home Care Team Leader will see you oversee the day to day management of services across the Tyneside area. Your time will be split between office work and community based work.

The implementation of Support Plans and Risk Assessments will be an integral part of your role and as such you will need to show the competence and ability required to tailor the service to meet the needs of our customers.

You will be allocated a team of support staff who you will supervise daily, enabling these individuals to effectively manage the care needs of our customers.

The role requires you to be willing to undertake on-call duties which will be completed on a rota basis, this means that you will need to be a driver with a access to your own vehicle.
