Description:
Appaloosa x Andalusian 2024 foal to make 15hh
"Shaw Carr Black Marquina" (aka Quin) ot more affectionately by my toddler as "Baba" is our Appaloosa x Andalusian/spanish x Dartmoor 2024 colt foal.
His mum is a very sturdy 13.3hh Appaloosa x Dartmoor mare and his dad is a stunning 15.2hh Spanish Spotted Saddle Horse (Appaloosa x Andalusian).
He is passported as a Spanish spotted saddle horse but could also be registered as an Appaloosa for £50.
He's really quiet to handle, has lived in or out and is fine in a mixed heard. He currently shares a stable with one of my geldings and they are so sweet together. He's used to dog, cats, ducks and farm machinery including diggers, dumpers, tractors etc and is not phased by any of this. He's also really good with my toddler who often feeds him his hard feed and will keep moving his bucket around while eating.
Standing beside my 15.2hh sports horse he looks to be well on his way to making his dad's height. He's pretty fine legged and would make an excellent prospect for most disciplines.
His colour testing came back with LP/LP meaning he will always pass on spots to any offspring.
He's halter broken and weaned ready for his new home.
