BENNY BOY in Halifax

£6,500

BENNY

He’s a very level headed, sensible, kind Cob.

- 6yo - 15.2/3- Piebald - middle weight cob- gelding -

Snaffle mouthed for everything. Lovely soft mouth. Light in his step and has a super comfy & very well balanced canter. He can sometimes be green in the arena however with some leg on and pushed forwarded he has 3 nice paces.

He’s been out jumping, both SJ & XC. He prefers to be out XC. Impeccably behaved in the trailer.

Has been to his first hound exercise where he was very well behaved. Happy to be at the back or up front, not strong or silly in open space.

He’s super to handle. Stands to be bathed. Good to catch (in a large field) & lead. Comes up to you in the field. Good with other horses in the field. Good to shoe (shod in front, trimmed behind), good to tack up & mount. The only thing I’ve not done is clip him due to having him over the summer.

He doesn’t need a certain routine. Currently he’s out in the day and in on a night or would happily live out.

He’s good to hack alone or in company although he is more confident in company.

Very sweet and kind in the stable.

No vices. No sarcoids. No known medical issues or history.

Does have small splint on front leg although is no issue to him. He is still a touch bum high.

Only selling him as I don’t have the time he deserves due to backing my youngster.

Open to vetting
