Registered Welsh Section A Gelding – "Shadow"

A lovely registered Welsh Section A gelding with excellent breeding and full WPCS passport.

Shadow has done a bit of everything over the years, including Pony Club activities, happy hacker including beach rides. Does some liberty work with my 12 year daughter.
He is now sadly looking for a new home due to not having a small enough rider and us no longer carrying on with owning our own ponies.

Shadow has spent the last year mainly as a field companion to our cob, so is being sold from the field and will need bringing back into regular work and routine.

He is easy to handle. Loves to be fussed and groomed. Never sick or sorry.
Good for the farrier and vet, and is up to date with his feet and worming.
His jabs expired in May 2025. As mentioned he has just been turned out not moved to different yards for shows etc, so haven't done his jabs again yet.

Shadow would make a fantastic in-hand show pony, with his quality bloodlines, flash movement and full registration.

If someone wished to bring him back into ridden work, he is not suitable for a novice, dispite previously being ridden by a very young inexperienced rider (my daughter), Shadow can throw in a buck when he's had enough and therefore he needs a knowledgeable, confident home.
I personally feel Shadow is not suitable for a first time novice due to his occasional bucking.

Shadow has previously had a full health check due to his bucking and there were no findings or medical reasons why he can buck on occasion.
I feel given Shadow has only had novice riders he has developed a behavioural habit when he has had enough he will buck and a novice will want to get off.
Because of this, Shadow would need an experienced and or confident rider.
