Mercedes 814D:

Quite a legendary truck. These trucks were used quite a lot with the German Army, it is believed this one was also used with the German Army as was told to me by a friend who sourced this vehicle for me as part of a fleet that I was going to be using in Ghana. The engine provides evidence that this may well have been an army truck previously, it having an army green coloured engine. Maybe this was one of the vehicles that was used to carry the soldiers, it having a very long bed.

It currently shows around 850,000km but sounds and starts up as though it is still very new. Maybe this is credit to how military vehicles are serviced and then also to the fact that it is Mercedes, unless it has been a replacement engine and is in fact new

Has aluminium drop sides.

It is on springs and air suspension.

Starts, runs and drives as it should

Is currently on Polish registration plates. Documentation present.

It will require either a new alternator or repair to the casing around the mount position with a tig welder, but will need auxiliary bel tensioner wheel as it is squeaking, this is why it is broken because heat should have been applied before it was opened up on bolt.

Mercedes Sprinter 312:

Another legendary vehicle. Those of you who know them need not ask any questions as you know they will pull a house down and they will continue for 1 million miles and more if well serviced, the same as the 814.

This is a 17 seater.

Combined length of the 814 with the Sprinter on the back is: 8.34m

(We have another one of these LHD 17 seater Sprinters for sale. It will require a clutch. We also have a LHD LWB Iveco van that is a 2.3 and can be made into a 17 seater minibus also. This one will be the cheaper one as it needs some welding and fitting out. Also have a LHD Volvo FH12 for sale but this would be a very reluctant sale as it is my retirement plan)

The 814D and Sprinter shown in the pictures are to be sold together. We do not have the time to be separating them. This is how we bought them and we wish for them to sell together. If we have to separate them then the deal will not be so sweet as we will have to take into account the time spent doing this.

They have been given TLC whilst I have had them, getting them ready for the work that they would have been doing whilst out in Ghana. They are not going to be sold for peanuts or any last prices. I want what they owe me otherwise they just won't go anywhere. So please don't be haggling with me, attempting to buy them for next to nothing as these were my future investments for me and my children.
