BACKGROUND:
MalaMor British Shorthair Cattery specialises in the breeding of genuine black tipped shorthair cats with lineage dating back to the original Black Tipped Shorthair Cats, first bred in the UK. It is our mission first to preserve the work put into the breed by working with my mentors and fellow founders that have entrusted me to the care of their cats.

Affectionately known as "Tippies", the Black Tipped British Shorthair is the smallest of all the British Cats with a silver undercoat and black tipping, green eyes, red brick nose, black paw pads and unique black outlines of the nose and eyes.
They are extremely affectionate cats that crave human interaction and make the very best of indoor companions.

We invite you to enquire about our cats and encourage you to consider the following when buying in the current climate:
-Can the breeder tell you the history of the cats they are breeding?
-Were they and do they have a mentor that they work with to develop the breed?
-Are they fully registered with a governing body?
-Are they willing to let you view the kittens?
-Are they prepared to support you should your circumstances change and the kitten needs to be returned?

COVID-19 VIEWING REQUIREMENTS:
- Hand Sanitisers will be available to use on arrival and before handling the kittens and leaving the house
- Please wear face coverings while making your through the house where a socially distanced viewing can be done
- Do not attend the viewing if you are displaying any symptoms of COVID-19 and have a fever... your viewing can be rearranged or video conferencing can be used instead
- You will be asked to leave your contact details for track and trace and these will be destroyed after a period of 3 months and will only be used for the purposes of COVID-19 outbreaks

BUYING A KITTEN FROM MALAMOR BRITISH SHORTHAIR CATTERY

Responsible breeding means that we will want to check and be assured that our kittens are leaving to go to suitable homes that their individual personalities and needs are met and catered for. This will mean that you may be asked to provide a bit of background on yourselves during the initial stages of enquiring about the kittens. Please do not be offended as this is to eliminate un-authorised breeding and re-selling of kittens in the current climate which is seeing a surge in enquiries for breeding.

In return you will have the assurance that your kitten will come with the following assurances which we will discuss in detail at the time of collection.
