Beautiful Cocker Spaniel Puppy Looking for His Forever Home

Meet Chester, a beautiful Cocker Spaniel boy born 22nd March 2026. ️

Chester was originally bought by my mum, but unfortunately she has received some difficult news and is now undergoing ongoing treatment, meaning she is no longer able to care for him. I have taken Chester on in the meantime, but with young children, work and university, I have realised that I simply cannot give him the time and attention he deserves. It wouldn't be fair on him to keep him in a situation where I'm constantly juggling everything.

I have really tried to put the work in with Chester during the time I've had him, and he is such a lovely, intelligent boy with so much potential. He picks training up incredibly quickly and is:

Toilet trained
Crate trained
Good on the lead
Has been practising recall and is doing really well
Sits beautifully for a treat
Loving, affectionate and eager to learn

He is still a young puppy, so naturally he can be excitable, playful and a little rough at times. Because of this, I would ideally like him to go to a home with older children, preferably 7/8+, as he has knocked my younger son over when playing. This is puppy behaviour, but it's important that his new family understands the time, patience and continued training that a young Cocker Spaniel needs.

He hasn't been around cats. He can be nervous around smaller dogs and tends to hide from them, so this would need to be taken into consideration.

Chester is a beautiful, loving boy who would make a fantastic companion for the right person or family. ️ He really needs someone who knows and understands the Cocker Spaniel breed, has plenty of time for him and is committed to continuing his training and giving him the active, loving home he deserves.

Unfortunately, due to everything going on with my mum's ongoing treatment and me juggling Chester, young children, work and university, his microchip has not yet been done.

This is an extremely difficult decision, and finding Chester the right forever home is much more important to us than simply finding him a home quickly. We will want to make sure he is going to someone who genuinely has the time, knowledge and commitment to give him the best life possible.

Serious enquiries only, please.
Please tell me a little about yourself, your experience with dogs/Cockers, your home circumstances and the kind of life you can offer Chester.

He deserves the very best, and we are determined to find that for him. ️
