If you are between 12 and 17 years of age, male or female and want a new challenge, then come along to the Kent Army Cadet Force. (12 years of age and must be in year 8 at school and cadets leave at 18 years of age.)

You can have the opportunity to partake in a wide variety of activities from Military Training, Map Reading, First Aid, Adventurous Training, Survival Techniques, Shooting, to Sporting Activities. Furthermore, there are opportunities to travel abroad to participate in activities with Kent Army Cadet Force.

The uniform is issued free of charge except for a pair of boots which you have to purchase.

All Cadets have the opportunity to earn the following:

* Bronze Silver & Gold Duke of Edinburgh's Awards
* BTEC Level 2 awards in 'Teamwork and Personal Development in the Community' and 'Music for Practical Performance' - the latter (Level 2) are delivered free of charge by CVQO - the equivalent to 4 GCSE's at A to C level at no cost.
