It's original, NOT a reproduction.

I've only ever seen one and that was in a museum !

Chevron type design with a 1937 date stamped in a star inside, on the bottom
Has an integral side tray stamped 'SOAP'.
It doesn't leak !

Ideal as a tree planter, logs or an even a rain barrel.
Fill it with ice and put cans or bottles in it for a party !!
Stands 54cm tall and 46cm across the top.
Thank goodness for modern washing machines !
