A unique opportunity to acquire a rare and discontinued much sought-after guitar that have become increasingly popular in the last few years

This is a completely original 1996 Jackson SC1 Surfcaster (more desirable pre-Fender instrument) and is a truly unique alternative to the guitars Jackson is typically known for. It was made in Japan and features a transparent Mary Kay blonde finish with nice wood grain showing through over a bound ash body with bound maple neck and fretboard with shark fin inlays, Duncan designed neck pickup and Jackson bridge lipstick pickup. Overall it is in excellent condition less some light play wear - it plays very smoothly. There are some hairline polish and a few minor age-related marks as would be expected of a 21-year old guitar but no buckle rash, no breaks, no repairs, no scratches, one ding near the jack socket, a small lacquer crack near the bridge and one either side of the neck heel as well as some marking on the bridge lipstick pickup (see photos). There are no issues and everything works as it should - easily an 8+ out of 10. The neck is as straight as an arrow and there is only minor fret wear (plenty of life left). It will need new strings and you'll probably want to set it up to your own preference but is perfectly playable as it is.

This is from before Fender owned Jackson so it is not to be confused with the cheaper models that are available now.
