We have a unique opportunity to support a young lady with a traumatic brain injury. Working with the client to optimise independence, at home and within the community.

We are looking for a Support Worker with a minimum of two years' experience, due to the nature of support required.

Uphold CQC's 5 Key questions at all times: Safe, Effective, Caring, Well-led and responsive
Maintain accurate and detailed notes
Assisting with activities of daily living
Encouraging independence
Assisting with attendance at medical appointments
Ensuring the health of pets is maintained.
Ensuring household upkeep
Arranging and facilitating outings and vacations
Participating in therapy as directed by professionals.
Maintaining good communication within the team and with professionals
Ensuring accurate and high-quality documentation
Undertaking any other appropriate and reasonable task in relation to the employment as agreed with the client's family and Case Manager.
Excellent communication skills
Understanding and maintaining professional boundaries
Essential:

Being flexible in hours of work to satisfy the client's needs.
Experience working with adults with a Brain Injury
Experience working with adults with Mental Health conditions.
Full UK driving Liscence - with access to a car with business insurance
Preferred:

NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
Care Certificate

Support workers are directly employed by the client, or a family member, friend, or deputy. The case management company assists with recruiting, training, and managing them on an on-going basis to ensure they meet the required standards of practice and provide excellent client specific care and support. In this process we are supported by registration with the Care Quality Commission.

You will be required to follow a client-specific Support Plan, training, and company policies, providing assistance, support, guidance and encouragement, as directed by the Case Manager.
