    Alaskan Malamute

    The Malmanute is often mistaken for a Husky but is actually one of the larger "Spitz type" breeds. This breed requires intensive training and the owners must establish themselves as the "Alpha" of the family unit to ensure unity. Not a good choice for inexperienced or first time dog owners.
