Very reluctant sale due to lack of time this genuine mare needs

16.1hh Bay Thoughbred mare, 7 years old

She is a very loving mare with a lot to give, she is excellent in the stable and is very good and patient around children, she will stand all day to be groomed by adults and children, but is not too keen on having a bath. She has never been clipped but has had clippers around her and she didn’t seem bothered by them.
She is excellent to catch, even in the biggest of fields, and will come to you calling her name.

In 2023 she had a foal with a previous owner and I was told she was a great and loving mother.

She has been lunged and long reined and does this very well, she was broken as a six year old but has not done much since, she has hacked up the forestry both on her own and with company, she can be spooky at new things due to lack of confidence, so will need a confident experienced rider.

She hasn’t done much ridden road work, but has seen cars and was not bothered by them.
Due to all oof the above she is not a novice ride so not suitable for a beginner as she is so green.

With more education and consistent work she will make a lovely mare, but unfortunately with 2 young children I am unable to do this.

She does have a club foot, but this does not hinder her in her daily life or the ridden activities she has done so far, she just requires regular trimming. Currently she is bare foot and she copes with this well, even up the forestry, she is good for the farrier.

She does also require a little bit of work on loading as can be tricky at times, but again this is down to lack of confidence.

I would like her to go to a home where she can continue her education and be loved as much as she would love
