26 month old Working Cocker Spanielin Southport

£800

Forever home needed for our lovely cocker spaniel Autumn

I will now give you as much information as possible about her and you can see if she would fit into your family life - if so please get in touch

Autumn was 2 in March ( she is now 26 months old ) she is a chocolate brown Working cocker spaniel

She has a lovely bouncy personality however does settle and can be left on her own with no crying / barking

She is crate trained, she can live inside or outside in kennels, she has also been to kennels when we go away on holiday and been absolutely fine

She is ok with other dogs but does like her own space and would probably prefer to live on her own

She is ok with kids however doesn’t live with young children ( my youngest is 15)

She is great off the lead and will come back to you

LOVES food ( she’s currently eating Royal Canin cocker spaniel mix )

I bought Autumn when she was about 6 months old from her previous owner who was rehoming as they had a baby and no longer have time for her or thought she was a fit for their family being a working dog.
I got her with the intention of doing some working with her and agility
I have owned working cockers all my life and already had an elderly one here plus 2 sausage dogs when I saw Autums advert , my elderly one has since passed away and I feel that Autumn just isn’t getting the time she needs, back Injury made the working / agility just not an option at the moment and I feel the older she gets she will miss out on something she may enjoy

If I can find a home for her I think would be more suited then I would be happy to let her go to a new home but if not I’m happy to keep her here with us
I think she would suit a couple who are active - long walks / hiking / outdoors kind of thing, also someone on a farm or with a bit of land
I also think she would be highly trainable for working / agility too
She loves a sniff around the garden and when out on walks

She is quite small for a working cocker

Sometimes you have to make hard decisions and this is one for me but I would always do what I think is best for my dogs
I am a dog groomer too so have lots of experience with dogs

Autumn is full pedigree working cocker however will not be coming with papers, she is microchipped and I will transfer this to her new owners before leaving me

She is also due in season any time so please bear that in mind for any immediate holidays / plans - she is not spayed

Absolutely no breeders need contact me she needs a pet home / working home only

Please message with any questions I haven’t covered
