It is with a heavy heart that I am reluctantly rehoming my beautiful girl. She has been spayed so thankfully cannot be used as a breeding bitch. She loves everyone young and not so young but be warned, if you are a male she will flirt with you non stop. She is an excellent family dog. I can't express enough how sweet and loveable she is.
Unfortunately I am her second owner. I naively thought I could improve on her previous owners lack of recall and lead training (of which there was none). If you know Leonbergers then you know how wilful they can be.
As its just me in the household I have found her training to be too much for my arthritic joints. If I had a partner to help I would most definitely not be rehoming her.
She would benefit from having a bullet proof doggie sibling to show her how to play gently as I don't think she realises how big she is. Unfortunately my 2 Maltese are not ideally suited to be her bestie.
