At East Sussex Smallholders, we have a wide range of point-of-lay hybrid hens available in our mega event this May 2025. All hens are vaccinated and suitable for back garden flocks.

Available breeds include:
Light Sussex - white with black neck and tail feathers, a classic Sussex favourite
Silver Duckwing Leghorn - active and hardy, lays over 300 large white eggs a year
Speckledy (Cuckoo Maran) - plump, often lays XL or double-yolk eggs
Lilac Splash - gentle with soft grey feathers, lays creamy tinted eggs
Bluebell (Blue Haze) - calm with soft grey plumage, lays light brown eggs
Amber Star - each bird unique in pattern, cream to chestnut, laid-back nature
Millefleur - pretty markings, low-fuss hens, lays pale white or cream eggs
Gold Speckled (Buff Speckledy) - friendly, 300 light brown eggs a year
Reverse Sussex - white with black markings, a great match to Light Sussex

Also available at £38 each - our coloured egg layers:
Green Egg Layer - lays vibrant green-shelled eggs, friendly and quirky
Blue Egg Layer - lays blue-shelled eggs, a rare and pretty addition to any flock
Chocolate Egg Layer - deep brown eggs, great layer with a calm nature

Collection dates and time available this weekend:
Thursday 16th May - 10am to 4pm
Friday 17th May - 11am to 5pm
Saturday 18th May - 10am to 4pm
Sunday 19th May - 11am to 2pm
