"Now up the stairs - look at this amazing mosaic on the first landing! - and at the second landing there is on the left another bedroom with great views over the mountains. Then across the landing is the dining room leading to the lounge with its amazing gecko mosaic!. These two rooms are interchangeable.
"Back the other way is the ENORMOUS fully equipped kitchen, with a space for a washing machine or a dishwasher or even a tumble dryer. Leading off the kitchen is the gorgeous spacious bathroom, with its heavenly walk- in shower." The kitchen is large enough to also have a dining or sitting area.
"Finally - this is our favourite bit - the terrace. Sunny all day and really private. Nobody can see you! So you can sunbathe au naturelle if you choose. Perfect!. It makes up for us having no garden. By the way though, there's a strip of public land belonging to the house which you may be able to cultivate or fence in if you have a dog? This aspect of the property is a joy if you just want a 'Lock up 'n leave'!"
Now for a little about life the local area...
"We've just got home, back from Caniles where we'd just nipped out for coffee after walking the dog in the woods. They're looking gorgeous now, all back in leaf and green. We went to our favourite bar because the courtyard is lovely and coffee is only ¬1.20! It's a nice little town, close by, just a 5 minute drive, with some lovely bars and cafes. And an English-speaking GP! Which we find a real bonus. Schools and a sports centre and an amazingly cheap Farmer's market on Tuesdays, with festivals dotted throughout the year...It's a great little town."
"On the other hand, Baza city is a much bigger place, with about 22,000 inhabitants, and has a lot to offer. With 4 big supermarkets, a hospital, loads of restaurants and bars, a cinema, 2 theatres and sports centres. We nip over several times a week - it's only a 10-minute drive."
