Hi!

I am Lucie and I am French. I am a qualified French teacher as I have just passed the French national exam to teach in secondary schools (11-18) in France. I have also been a French tutor in Sweden. Before starting my career in France, I decided to take a gap year in the UK. I am currently working as a French assistant at Abbey Grange Church of England Acamedy in Leeds. I would love to help you learn my mother tongue, get confident at speaking and develop your knowledge about French-speaking cultures.

I am a polyglot and keen on teaching languages. I have learned English, Spanish and Swedish myself at school and at the uni so I know how it feels to be a student.

I would like to offer you one-to-one classes in French. GCSE and A-LEVEL students are welcome (I am helping them at school) but any other person interested in practicing French is most welcome too.

I can adapt the content depending on the needs. However, I will make sure that lessons help you make progress quickly through conversations, activities focusing on your weak points as well as elements you master with a cultural input!

Besides my Master degree in Teaching, I have a Master degree in Cultural Studies (English-speaking countries). I am particularly keen on arts, literature and music so I would be happy to make you discover a wide range of French works, cultural anecdotes and facts.

Each lesson will be charged £25 per hour (preparation and marking included).
