This is one of the hardest things I've ever had to write.

Scooby is a 1-year-old Boxer x Mastiff who came to us a few days ago. He is an absolutely lovely boy – affectionate, playful, goofy, loves people, enjoys his walks, and has the typical boxer personality that makes you fall in love with him very quickly.

Unfortunately, after bringing him home, it has become clear that he isn't the right fit for our family. We have a very energetic toddler, and while Scooby has never shown aggression, he becomes overwhelmed by the noise, movement, and unpredictability that comes with a young child. It's not fair on him to constantly feel stressed, and it's not fair on our daughter to have to change who she is around him.

This decision is absolutely heartbreaking for us because we adore him already, but our priority has to be finding him a home where he can truly thrive.

Scooby would suit:
A home without very young children
Someone who understands large breeds
A family with the time and space to continue helping him settle and build confidence
People looking for a loving, loyal companion

He is still young and has a huge amount of potential. The last thing we want is for him to be passed around from home to home, so we are trying to do this properly and find the best possible outcome for him.
