I rescued the most beautiful little blind French bulldog x Staffy when she was just 4/5 weeks of age she had parvo and very nearly lost her fight for life. She has now come through the other side and have such enthusiasm for life and is constantly happy and very well behaved. Unfortunately she is blind due to awful breeding but I wouldn’t want her put so sleep as she manages so fantastically and enjoys every adventure, she finds her way around with ease once she is familiar with her surroundings and walks fine on a lead although likes to feel you next to her in u familiar places for security and guidance. Shes now 20months old amazing with children and people she plays for hours with my 3 year old daughter beautifully. she’s is fussy with other dogs so if she was rehomed with another dog would ideally be suited to a dog of a similar breed that will give her a run for her money as she can be a little feisty hence me not being able to keep her as she doesn’t particularly get on well with 1 of my Dalmatian’s which are unfortunately no match for her. She is fairly hyper active when she first has engagement with her people but very quickly calms down and will lie and give the best cuddles for hours. She absolutely loves her toys and is house trained although this could need a little help in a new environment until she learns her way around but she learns very quickly. Unfortunately I am pregnant and with her not liking 1 of my Dalmatian’s I just don’t have the time to dedicate to her training and care on a 1 to 1 basis she is the sweetest little girl and very alert she will inform me if somebody is at the door or at the back gate. Despite being unable to see she has a great outlook on life and always wags her tail indicating she is super happy. her name is piggly as she was almost still pink when we rescued her and her brother who unfortunately lost his fight with parvo. She is white and merle in colour and unfortunately when merles are not bread responsibly they do tend to have health problems this does not stop her or slow her down. She will make a perfect companion for somebody and deserves to be loved and has so much love to give. Read more
