bolt in Bridgend

£3,950

BOLT
looking for his forever home, rising 16 ( in may) 14.2 cob, gelding.

bolt was missold to us a school master ex riding school pony. i have since been in contact with his breeder who has told us he is not a ex riding school pony. he does hold himself into a contact but sometimes can over bend, did a lot of jumping and has plenty of scope to jump but has not jumped with us due to myself losing confidence because of him being bolshy on the ground.

has hacked with us in company which he was very good, didn't take notice to any traffic. hasn't hacked alone with us but been told by previous owners that he does.

he needs a confident rider and person on the ground due to him being sharp. he knows when he can take the mick of a nervous person. we have been working on this with a strict routine but i am still very nervous of him. we have worked very hard on trying to improve both him and my confidence but unfortunately this isn't a good match.

he would suit a small yard and someone who will stick to a routine as soon as the routine is changed this is when he misbehaves and tries to either barge you out the way or walk off dragging you behind.

good to shoe ( currently shod on the front), good with the dentist and sheath cleaning. he was sold to me clipped and I was told he's good to clip.

a very sad sale myself and his breeder would like to stay in contact. bolt is very loved but unfortunately isn't suitable for us as a first pony.
